What are your rates?

The fee for the initial therapy intake session is $315 and lasts 80 minutes. The following sessions will be 50 minutes and the rate for that is $210.

Do you take insurance?

I am not in-network with insurance or communicate with insurance companies. I can provide a Superbill at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to understand any benefits provided to you for out of network providers. The billing code (CPT codes) to check are 90834 for a 50-minutes session and 90791 for the initial intake session.

How will I know if it’s a good fit for me?

The fit between the client and the therapist is a very important part of the success of therapy. I ask that you be asking yourself this question when we meet for the initial session. You won’t hurt my feelings. Please let me know as soon as possible if our work together doesn’t feel like it’s a good fit. I am happy to provide referrals.

What is a good faith estimate?

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

I will provide this after our initial consultation or at our first appointment.
